1 Planning
Every project begins in the planning phase. After you’ve reached out with your budget and website idea, we start taking steps to bring your vision to life.

2 Design
We create mockups, sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes based on earlier discussions. You get to see your website and approve the final design before building begins.

3 Build
Building begins, with a heavy emphasis on the technical and design specifications from the planning phase. You choose how often you want updates (daily, weekly, etc.) as the website comes together.

4 Test & Train
Every site and app is tested before launch: heavy stress, multiple browsers, operating systems, and devices, so it’s responsive and performs well everywhere. I also train your staff so they can make minor adjustments or publish new content once you’re live.

5 Launch
Launch can be stressful. Even with thorough testing, unforeseen challenges can arise, so Carver Webdev provides full monitoring and support during the launch period.

6 Support
Once your site launches, you’ll still want a technical partner for ongoing needs. Carver Webdev offers support services for completed projects, including maintenance and optimization.
FAQs
Can I skip one of the 6 steps?
No. Every step is critical to keeping quality high from start to finish and making sure you’re happy with the final product.
Can I change my mind during the process?
Yes. Depending on the scale of the change, it may require a new development contract. If you decide not to move forward at any point, the unused portion of your payment is refunded in full (e.g. you’ve paid 50% and the project is 40% complete: 10% is refunded).
How does payment work?
After the discovery call about your website, budget, and timeframe, a proposal is sent within a week, and a 50% deposit is due after signing. Once the site is launched and revisions are complete, ownership transfers to you after final payment. All digital payments are accepted: debit/credit, Venmo/PayPal, Zelle, Apple Pay/Google Pay, QuickBooks, etc.
Do I own the website?
Yes, the website is yours after final payment. Ownership of the design remains with Carver Webdev and is licensed to you. Your site may appear on the Carver Webdev portfolio; just ask if you’d prefer it not to.
Can I get a Google Maps business profile?
Yes. Mention it any time during or after development and we’ll set one up for you.
